The chain of command for IndicaSMP will be fairly simple and rigid. We may expand ranks to fully adapt to average player numbers, but for the time being there will only be a certain amount of staff for each rank.
The hierarchy can be explained fairly quickly. The owners have ultimate discretion over the staff team, however the administration team, including and mostly the head-administrator can make decisions for the staff team without the owner's approval. The head-administrator will guide the regular administrators, and the rest of the staff team, on decisions within the server, or with the staff team. Administrators will be the final decision on a staff application, however they will also receive information about the applicant from other staff members who give the information on the application thread. Senior moderators will be the highest ranking out of the moderator group, this rank is only obtained by members of the moderation team who have not yet achieved administrator but have held the moderator rank for a lengthy time, or deemed worthy by administrators. Moderators will do what their names imply, moderate the server and hold more responsibility than the helpers, who will be more or less trainees in the trial period before becoming a full moderator.
The rank structure will also be arranged in most senior, so if the only staff members on are three moderators, the one with the most experience will be the highest ranking.
Developers and Builders are not considered staff members. Although developers may have staff abilities, and may use the abilities if no other staff can get on, they fall under their own rank structure. The owners will have final decision, however the build team/developer team will mostly take care of applications for such.
